Our Story: continues

Spirited Care has grown exponentially since November 2020, what started out as a service for children aged 6-12 years under the guise of Spirited Kidz, has grown into a service catering to all ages from birth to 65 years. To align with our expanding clientele, we have rebranded to become Spirited Care. Spirited Kidz remains a primary part of our business; Spirited Care encompasses a wider suite of services and caters to all ages.

To complete our business model Spirited Care is currently working towards becoming an NDIS registered organisation. We have recently passed the certification quality audit by an NDIS Commission approved quality auditor Global Compliance Certification Pty Ltd. The final step in our NDIS registration process is the NDIS Commission’s assessment and registration decision which we are eagerly awaiting.

Meet our team

Andrew Taylor - Director/Psychosocial Recovery Coach

Andrew has over 20 years’ experience working in mental health, case management, out-of-home care, youth, criminal justice, detox, disability residential care, drug & alcohol and mental health counselling. Even though Andrew has a lot of experience he refers to himself as a big kid with a huge heart. Andrew has completed a Bachelor of Social Science (Social Welfare), a Diploma in Community Services (Alcohol, Other Drugs & Mental Health), a Diploma of Welfare and Certificate IV in Disability. Andrew is a current member of the Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA).

Nicole Taylor - Director/Specialist Support Coordinator

Nicole has over 15 years experience working in social welfare, rehabilitation, mental health, disability, health, out-of-home care, education and Defence. Nicole is dedicated to helping individuals, families and communities improve their quality of life. Nicole was recognised for her work when she received a Commendation from the Chief of Defence in January 2021. Nicole has completed a Bachelor of Social Work and Certificate IV in Business and is currently completing a Master in Applied Behaviour Analysis. Nicole is a current member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

Charmaine Milne - Plan Manager

Charmaine has over 20 years experience working as a bookkeeper for accounting firms in regional NSW and Melbourne. Charmaine is proud to partner with Spirited Care to provide plan management services for our NDIS participants. Charmaine is happy to complete your NDIS admin, answer all your questions, and support you to get the most out of your funds. Charmaine is a current Member in Practice of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.

Art Therapist/Counsellor

Spirited Care is currently seeking expressions of interest from a suitably qualified Art Therapist/Counsellor. Our service is expanding and we have clients ready to go!

Business Manager

Spirited Care is currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified Business Manager’s. We are looking for a dynamic go getter, someone who can think on their feet and support our amazing team. Immediate start for the right person.

Occupational Therapist

Spirited Care is currently seeking expressions of interest from a suitably qualified Occupational Therapist. Our service is expanding and we have clients ready to go!

Support Workers

Spirited Care has a dedicated team of Support Workers (Level 1 – 3) ready to help you live your life to the fullest. They can be a little camera shy and don’t like talking about themselves but they are very good at what they do – supporting you!

Dashi - Therapy Dog (in training)

Dashi is a 12 month old Labradoodle who is working very hard to become a Therapy Dog. Dashi loves attention, playing fetch with her ball and meeting new friends. If you see Dashi out and about please make sure you come and say hello and give her a pat or two!
